Alice Shaw is an exceptional talent whose songwriting ability continues to amaze and astound with every new track she composes!
Live she is a phenomenon – emotive, passionate, heartfelt with outstanding insight to life.
Hailing originally from Bristol, Alice relocated to Brighton in 2002. Along with backing vocalists Amy Tinsley and Rebecca Cahill, Alice quickly became a firm favourite among the town’s more discerning gig-goers.

In early 2007 Alice signed a global publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music who recognised her songwriting talent immediately and funded the recording of her debut album ‘Reasons I Can’t Speak’, which was completed in London’s 2khz Studios with renowned producer Ian Grimble. ‘Reason I Can’t Speak,’ is 11 passionate anthems of love & loss, rejection & personal awakening; bold musical arrangements perfectly compliment Alice’s soaring vocals and heartfelt lyrics. The overall result is a cohesive work of striking originality and real beauty.

As well as her own original music, Alice has performed, written and/or recorded with the likes of Ronan Keating (Boyzone),  Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Jeff Watson (Night Ranger), Joey P (Producer – Ludacris, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs,  Fabolous,  TLC, Ol’ Dirty Bastard), Amanda Wilson (Voice of The Freemasons, and dance smash hit ‘Seek Bromance’), Ian Grimble (Producer – Mumford & Sons, Texas, KT Tunstall) and most recently Darren Hayes (Savage Garden), also finding notoriety state side after her track ‘I Got Love’ was placed on a successful advertising campaign for Yoplait Yogurt in the USA.

“In a time when money is being thrown at the mediocre, it’s great to find someone so young, gifted and broke! That’s where true talent is born.”  Ian Grimble
